Corinne Hartley was educated at Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles and Pasadena School of Fine Arts. She was a commercial fashion illustrator for 30 years while conducting a long, successful career as a fine artist and painting teacher.
As a professional artist, her mediums include watercolor, oil, and clay sculpture. Commissioned work includes portraits, children, landscapes, still life, and bronze sculpture. Corinne currently teaches painting in her studio, gives painting demonstrations for art associations, and conducts painting workshops in the U.S. and Europe.
Corinne Hartley is a member of the California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, and a signature member of the Western Academy of Women Artists with whom she recently won "Best of Show" at the Clymer Museum in Ellensburg, Washington.
Collectors of Corinne Hartley paintings and sculptures include Barbara Mandrell, the late John Denver, Designer Steve Chase, Linda Dano, Conductor Daniel Lewis, Mike Connors, Congressman Hawkins, Leigh-Taylor Young, and Tony Bennett.
